The foundation has established three cultural centres in Gaza, London, and Ramallah, each with its unique identity tied to its geographical context. However, the primary shared objective of these centres is to provide spaces for knowledge sharing, promoting interaction, and fostering dialogue within the community. These centres host a wide range of cultural and artistic events, including visual arts exhibitions, book launches, musical and theatrical performances, and more. They are dynamic spaces that encourage experimentation, testing, and the exploration of various cultural and artistic ideas. These centres are known for being perpetually open, ready to accommodate a diverse mix of creatives and the public.
Our centres welcome children, families, artists, academics, cultural practitioners, and partners from different cultural fields to explore their spaces and benefit from them in ways that meet their artistic, cultural, and educational aspirations.
The Mosaic Rooms
Founded in 2008 in London, The Mosaic Rooms is a non-profit gallery and cultural space with the mission of supporting and enhancing contemporary cultural production within and beyond the Arab world. It showcases Arab cultural contributions globally and promotes dialogue on critical regional issues. The Mosaic Rooms achieve this through free-entry art exhibitions, a diverse program of events, including film screenings, open discussions, lectures, literary readings, book launches, and various cultural activities, as well as The Creative Learning program.
This initiative collaborates with local, national, and international institutions to reach a broader audience in and beyond London. Partnerships include renowned organizations such as the British Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Shubbak Festival, London Design Festival, London Architecture Festival, and many others. Additionally, the project organizes the prestigious "Annual Edward Said Lecture" in London, which has become one of the most important annual lectures in the city.
