Ramallah, Date 25/07/2023 - The A.M. Qattan Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its Board of Trustees, marking a significant milestone in the Foundation's evolution as it continues to advance its work in culture and education in Palestine and the Arab World. Gratitude and appreciation were conveyed to Dr. Khalil Hindi, Ms. Abla Maayah, and Ms. Nadia Hijab for their invaluable contributions and commitment during their tenure, which came to an end after many years of service.

 

The Foundation is honored to introduce the new trustees:

  1. Professor of Engineering, Hani Nigim.
  2. Dr. Munir Fakhereldin, the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Birzeit University.
  3. Dr. Rabbab Tamish, an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education, Bethlehem University.
  4. Mr. Yacoub El Yousef, an Auditor and former Partner at Deloitte in the Middle East.

 

Omar Al-Qattan, Chair of the Board, stated: "As the Foundation navigates the ever-evolving local, regional, and international cultural and educational landscapes and the challenges they present, the new trustees will undoubtedly bring invaluable fresh perspectives to our work, especially as we begin to develop our new 2025-2029 strategy. We look forward to working with them in the coming years."
