The Palestinian Performing Arts Network (PAN), held a meeting on 27 February, attended by representatives from the twelve participating member organisations, and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. A final version of the PAN statutes and bylaws was discussed and agreed, with legal adviser Ashraf Nashashibi in attendance.
PAN was established as a collaborative project of partners under the supervision of the A. M. Qattan Foundation. The project is currently funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and aims to organise a wide range of activities across four areas of the performing arts: music, theatre, dance, and circus, with focus on reaching those living in isolated or deprived areas.
