On 22 November, QCERD organised an educational day entitled ‘Imagination and Discovery in Educational and Developmental Projects: a Journey of Self-Discovery for Childhood Educators through Action and Interaction’. The event marked the conclusion of the ‘Comprehensive Development of Kindergartens in Jerusalem’ project, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development, and supervised by the Welfare Association.
Throughout the day, teachers presented their experiences and the projects they implemented with children in class using the Mantle of the Expert approach; project-based learning; as well as animation in education. Participants examined and evaluated the teachers’ overall experience in the project, and the professional and personal impact it had on them.
