The Qattan Centre for Educational Research and Development concluded its Winter Courses, which were held from 8-10 January in Jericho. 120 teachers from the West Bank, Gaza strip and the 1948 territories participated in the courses.
The Winter Courses consisted of two Drama and Research courses for the Drama in Education Summer School participants, one Professional Development course for early childhood teachers and a course on tinkering for science teachers. The evening programme included two workshops, one on the relation between theatre and drama, and the other on critical analysis of film trailers.
The winter set of courses aimed at deepening the knowledge acquired by the teachers during the Summer School, in addition to developing their skills in research and planning.
