On Tuesday, January 24, 45 children from the Little Creator Club in the village of Beit Sira visited the AMQF library in Ramallah. The visit was organized as part of the club’s winter events program.
During the visit, the children watched the film The Flying Books and read storybooks that were recently released by AMQF’s Educational Research and Development Program. They also attended a presentation by the Head of the Library Unit, Azmi Shinnara, on the different types of publications, including dictionaries, encyclopedias, books and magazines.
The children also met with author and storyteller Ziad Khaddash and discussed his book Halima wal Bahr (Halima and the Sea), where he tells the story of his aunt Halima’s return to her native village, Beit Nabala, after 63 years of forced absence.
