Nine books were recently published by young Palestinian writers who were winners or were recommended by the Young Writer of the Year Awards 2011 and 2012. The poetry collections were: What if We Were Ghosts? by Samar Abdul Jaber, 4:00 am in the Market by Tareq Al-Arabi, Safar Listening to the Family by Ali Abu Ajamiyeh and Concealed in the Interpretation by Yousef Al-Qidreh. The short story collections were: The Jabal Amman House by Nadim Abdul Hadi, North of Andalusia, West of Homeland by Suheil Matar, Little Happiness by Abeer Khsheiboun, Strawberry, Cakes and Chocolate by Samia Ayyash, and the winning novel from 2011, These Are the Bullets I Love by Hani Salmmi.
All these publications will be included in the Cairo International Book Festival in February 2014. Previously, they were included in the Beirut International Book Festival in December 2013.
