The A. M. Qattan Foundation in collaboration with the German Representative Office – Ramallah are happy to announce an open-call for an art workshop with the art collective TAPE THAT in partnership with the Palestinian Museum. The one-day workshop will take place on 14th of November 2017, 1:00pm – 6:00pm, at the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit. The workshop will culminate in an exhibition which will be held at the A. M. Qattan Foundation, Ramallah on the 15th of November 2017
The Workshop will utilize basic office equipment (tapes, canvas, pencils, paper, … etc.) to create artworks with the supervision of the latter art collective. Artists, architects, and students are highly encouraged to apply by sending the following material to the this email address: intern.pp@qattanfoundation.org in PDF format before the 5th of November 2017:
1. A motivation letters that explains the rational interest in the workshop
2. Personal photo (300dpi).
3. Short Bio (150 words).
TAPE THAT is an art collective that mostly works with tape as a medium, since 2011. With roots in the urban art movement, their works range from complex and colorful tape and light installations to minimalist black and white murals. Their tape artworks can be found in a variety of places, such as underground nightclubs, abandoned buildings, showrooms and galleries.
