The Qattan Centre for Education Research and Development (QCERD) concluded the Teacher Winter Courses held in cooperation with the Department of Supervision and Educational Training in the Ministry of Education from 17-19 January in Jericho. 97 teachers from the West Bank and the 1948 territories participated in the training.
The courses included a first year and a second year course on the theme of ‘Drama in Education’ for summer school teachers, and a course on comprehensive education for elementary school teachers (classes 1 to 4).
On the margin of the courses, meetings on research methodology, led by Dr. Sbeih Sbeih, were held to the benefit of the teachers. Moreover, teachers in the advanced phase participated in reviewing learning courses at the end of each training day and formed zonal groups to maintain regular exchange among teachers.
