Games, Activities, and Worksheets for the English - Sky McLaughlin

This manual has been designed as a follow up to Strategies for Teaching English and aims to promote language development in a fun and communicative atmosphere. It provides a number of classroom games, activities and worksheets in the three language areas of vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. All of the activities printed here can be adapted with a little bit of imagination to any group or level of students. These activities can be used to supplement the curriculum and are suitable for large classes because they utilize either pair work or group work

Sky McLaughlin is a researcher in education at the Al-Qattan Center for Educational Research and Development. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in English Language Teaching. She is currently enrolled in a PHD program in Discourse Analysis and Palestine Education.
