Strategies for Teaching English has been designed for Palestinian English teachers teaching at the grade five level and above. The manual presents a continuum in the process of language learning and is intended for teachers beginning their career in the field of ELT. The manual focuses on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, offering both basic teaching methodologies and practical classroom activities which are easily adaptable to varying ages and levels.
Sky McLaughlin is a researcher in education at the Al-Qattan Center for Educational Research and Development. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in English Language Teaching. She is currently enrolled in a PHD program in Discourse Analysis and Palestine Education.
