On July 7th, 2019, the Child Centre - Gaza/ A.M. Qattan Foundation launched the “Summer Activities for Children as part of al-Bayyara Parks Project in the Gaza Strip 2019” funded by Taawon, the Bank of Palestine, the Muna and Basem Hishmeh Foundation and the United Holy Land Fund, under the supervision of Taawon within the activities of “Let’s go to al-Bayyara”. 

The project, which runs until August, 8th 2019, aims to offer recreational programmes for children in the governorates of the Gaza Strip by organising a variety of cultural and entertaining activities and events.

The project targets approximately 5000 children from several governorates of the Gaza Strip. Activities are held in al-Bayyara Parks across Gaza in: Beit Hanoun, Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, Jabalya and in Tal el-Hawa neighbourhood in Gaza City.

Activities include reading, storytelling, drama, drawing, art crafts, rhythm games, logic games, sports, in addition to cultural competitions and reading activities.

Al-Bayyara Parks project is a national project which aims to create dozens of safe playgrounds for children across Palestine.
