In conclusion of the "Our Summer is Nicer" project, the Centre organized an exhibition of art works that were produced by children through the project’s various cultural, recreational and artistic activities. The three-month project, co-funded by the Welfare Association, targeted 450 orphaned children (6-14 years), who lost a parent in the 2009 Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip, with the aim to create an atmosphere of fun and joy for them, encourage their reading habits, and strengthen their social skills.
