The Teachers’ Centre in Ni'lin concluded its"Cell Phone Documentary Filmmaking” project on 13 June. A graduation ceremony was held for the 20 participating children who produced four educational documentaries during a 50-hour training course. The project was implemented in partnership with World Collective Film (UK) and aimed to enable children to use cell phones to produce documentaries about their daily lives focusing on themes of educational, historical and human significance. The children received training on the stages of production of documentary films, editing and photography, filmmaking and directing, as well as on the ethics of photography.
