School teachers engaged in the “Drama in Education” programme took initiative to actively participate in other programs offered by the QCERD and transfer their experience to other teachers. One of these initiatives came from Ms. Vivian Tannous, a kindergarten teacher, and Mr. Mutasem Al-Atrash, a lower elementary teacher, who conducted a workshop through video conference for early childhood teachers in Gaza on “Drama and Storytelling in Education”. In another initiative, a group of teachers participated in an advanced workshop on “Mantle of the Expert” which was held under the supervision of British expert Luke Abbott. The participating teachers were Kulthum Awadallah, Samar Abu Al-Hija, Mutasem Al-Atrash, Jamila Batran, Majida Abu Sarari, Hisham Awwad, Raneem Khoury, Naseem Kabaha, Abeer Rabadi, Yousef Al-Khawaja, Manal Ghniem, Lama Aslan, Rima Taha and Vivian Tannous. Moreover, teachers Mutasem Al-Atrash and Amal Qattawi are key researchers in “Investigating the Reality of Palestinian Schools”; a research project funded by UNICEF which seeks to create an educational module for Palestinian schools through studying a sample of six governmental schools.
