As part of the initiative “Jerusalem Cultural Capital of the Arab World”, the Centre organised a wide-ranging programme of over 412 activities in the arts and crafts, music, library and IT services which involved 28,555 children during the summer holiday. The initiative included a concert led by Ziad Qasabaghli, as part of QCC 's Summer Musical Days and culminated with an exhibition of all the works produced by participating children, including a special dance and choral performance. The summer also saw attendance numbers to the library rise to 29,893, with the number of borrowed books reaching 49,969!
