Throughout the winter program Your Body…Secrets & Hidden Facts , the Centre organized an activity entitled Discover Your Body ”, which introduced children to the different body organs. 40 children under the age of six participated in its six sessions, under the supervision of volunteer Rana Hamdan. In the activity My Small Body , 47 children under the age of six were introduced to some diseases that affect the body through a puppet show. This took place in 3 sessions. As for Facts About the Human Body & Your Body Under the Microscope , Dr. Allam Nayef provided the participants in the first activity with information about the body, while in the second activity they were introduced to the mechanisms of human organs. Around 84 children of primary and secondary school age participated in both activities.
