The Qattan Centre for the Child launched its 2014 winter activities plan (2-20 January), targeting children who have participated in artistic and cultural development activities and giving them the chance to make the most of their winter school vacation. Many recreational, scientific, cultural, technological and heritage activities took place, including singing, folk dance, drawing and photography, all of which drew upon the library’s resources including its extensive collection of books. Computers were used for activities related to technology including designing a robot.
