With funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Qattan Centre for the Child launched the second phase of “Create - Ibda’a: The Mobile Library Project” on 1 June. The project, which targets children aged 4-15 years, aims to contribute to expanding children’s cultural, artistic and creative horizons through the implementation of a range of cultural and recreational activities that help promote their love of reading and appreciation of the arts.
The project is to be implemented from June toDecember in– in eight schools distributed over Beit Hanoun in the north of Gaza, in Bani Suheila in the south, and in Deir al-Balah and Johor Al-Deek in central Gaza.
