With support from 'Selat: Links Through the Arts' project, Creative Refuge, a publication edited by Febrik team, was launched in T-Marbouta Café in Al-Hamra, Beirut, on 10 October. The book brings forward the team’s work with children in a project by the same name, implemented in a number of Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
Selat also supported the release of music album ‘Hijaz Harb’ by young singer Abo Gabi during a performance attended by 300 people at Al-Madina Theatre in Beirut. The performance was highly praised by the audience, which included a number of acclaimed Palestinian, Lebaniese and Arab artists such as Kamilya Jubran (Palestine), Fathy Salama (Egypt), Hanan Al-Haj Ali (Lebanon), Ahmad Kaabour (Lebanon) and Kinan Azmeh (Syria).
