The Qattan Centre for the Child (QCC) launched on 12 November the Science Days Palestine (SDP) 2014 in its premises in Gaza. This is the Centre’s fifth consecutive year in the SDP festival, and the second in the Science Film Festival (SFF).
The Centre hosted interactive science activities and an ‘Electronic Collage’ exhibition, which displayed art objects created by children, during their participation in the ‘Electronic Collage’ workshop in October 2014. SDP also included a ‘Clean Energy’ exhibition, scientific innovation workshops, activities in physics, health and medicine, in addition to Lego science projects.
Activities were not limited to the Centre’s premises - they were also held in parallel in Rafah, Az-Zahra’, central Gaza Strip, northern Gaza Strip, Beit Lahia and the Sammouni area.
