The Culture and Arts Programme (CAP) supported the ‘Days of Cinema’ festival, which was held in Ramallah between 8-14 December 2014 to mark the launching of FilmLab Palestine. The festival featured the screening of a number of local and international films, including the 9 short films co-produced by the Foundation, in addition to several workshops and meetings.
Furthermore, CAP sponsored a tour of the music show ‘Jadayil’ by artists Ahmad Khatib and Yousef Hbeish, which ran from 17-21 December 2014 in several Palestinian cities and was organised by Tamer Institution. The Programme also supported a concert by Nai Barghouti which was organised by The Arab Forum for Sexuality, Education and Health in Haifa early January, as well as a tour of the play ‘The Caravan Singer’ by Ensemble Fringe Theatre in Nazareth, which toured from mid-December until late January several areas including Kafr Manda, Qalansuwa, Eilabun and Nazareth.
