You are invited to attend the screening of ‘The Wanted 18’ film, directed by Amer Shomali & Pual Cowan at 7:00 on Friday 31 October at Red Crescent Society.

In 1987, during the first Intifada, a group of Palestinians in Beit Sahour bought 18 cows. As every action in the Occupied Palestinian  Territories is imbued with a deeper meaning, these weren’t just basic bovines, but symbols of how the town could become self sustainable.

Qalandiya International is a collaboration between the most prominent cultural institutions in Palestine focusing on Contemporary Art. Will take place between22 Oct - 15 Nov 2014.
