Dr. Mezna Qato holds the Margaret Anstee Fellowship at Newnham College, University of Cambridge. As a historian specializing in the modern Middle East, her research interests encompass topics related to education, migration, development, and the social history of Palestinians. Dr. Qato's previous roles include serving as the Spencer Fellow at the National Academy of Education and a Research Fellow at King's College, Cambridge.

Currently, she is working on a book about the educational systems of Palestinians and plays a pivotal role in leading the "Archives of the Disappeared Research Network" at the Cambridge Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Dr. Qato is an active participant in workshops, discussions, and conferences, contributing to both the public and scholarly communities. She also engages in artistic endeavors exploring various aspects of Palestinian history and daily life in education, archives retrieval, and the political and social life of Palestinians.
