The Foundation of Qandeel House for Culture and Arts, in cooperation with the Municpality and Charity Association of Deir Al-Ghusoon, concluded the project: "3D: Culture, Arts and Community Participation" in its second session in Deir Al-Ghusoon north of Tulkarm. It included various activities such as a popular Palestinian Market in which a group of women from the town of Deir Al-Ghusoon presented household products and works of art. A technical exhibition was also held which was presented through a collection of artworks by artists from the Governate of Tulkarm. The Artworks were displayed in the public space, hung on the walls of houses and pavements.
An art library and cultural centre were also opened in an old house belonging to the Abu Sa'a Family, which was was restored and dedicated to become a cultural and artistic space, which cares about the energy and talents of the youth, providing a permanent and open platform for expression.
A dialogue meeting was held between the family members and guests of the participating institutions, in the presence of a number of people from the A.M. Qattan Foundation and The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, in the building of "Bud El A'qd", a historical building dating back to the beginning of the 19th century, which was restored within the project to become a common space for the town where town meetings are held, in addition to its use in various special and general events.
A walking course was also organised to the "Wildlife Museum" in the Wadi Masin area of Deir Al-Ghusoon. The museum was established by the efforts of the villagers and volunteers within the project.
The programme was organised by The Foundation of Qandeel House for Culture and Arts, with the support of the "Culture, Arts and Community Participation Project" in a co-finance between The A.M. Qattan Foundation and The Swiss Agency for Development and Coorperation, and in partnership and cooperation with the people of Deir Al-Ghusoon, its governate, charity association and a number of personalities and activities of the town.
