The Culture and Arts Programme (CAP) seeks to develop the field of visual arts through supporting artists, art collectives and art institutions through various means such as seasonal grants and artist residency programmes as well as contributing to the development of the sector at large through the ‘Visual Art: A Flourishing Field’ (VAFF) project. In addition, CAP organises the Young Artist of the Year Award (YAYA) which plays a leading role in developing the arts and culture scene including Qalandiya International and /si:n/ Festival of Video Art and Performance.
