The Culture and Arts Programme published the Young Artist of the Year Award (YAYA 2014) Catalogue (Hassan Hourani Award) entitled Suspended Accounts. Documenting the 8th round of YAYA, the catalogue showcased the works of nine shortlisted artists who reached the final stage of the competition.

When the car goes off the paved road to dirt routes with motorcycles and auto rickshaws travelling along, you know that you are now in an agricultural area in the eastern Gaza Strip. Straight routes surrounded by trees and seasonal crops… this natural beauty seems as if it had never seen a war.
