Video: Watch the Drama in Education Summer School Film

The film is on Drama in Education Summer School (DiESS) that was held for its seventh year by Qattan Center for Educational Research and Development in Jerash, Jordan between the first and twelfth of July, 2013. The school is an intensive two-week training course on methods for teaching as a context for learning in the classroom. It also awards a Drama in Education diploma to participants who have completed three modules over three summers.

Read My World Literature Festival - Amsterdam: 13-15 September

Read My World is a literature festival based in Amsterdam, with a special focus on Egypt and Palestine in its 2013 edition. The festival includes performances and presentations by authors, journalists, bloggers, poets, musicians and other global talents.

The Culture and Arts Programme supports the participation of 4 Palestinian writers in this year's festival, and they are: Asmaa Azaizeh, Ala Hlehel, Tarik Hamdan, and Gayath Almadhoun.

In Pictures: Le Sacre du Printemps Dance Performance

The Culture and Arts Programme participates in supporting the Le Sacre du Printemps dance performance, which will showing on the 7th and 8th of September at the Ramallah Cultural Palace at 7:00 PM. Le Sacre du Printemps is a rewriting of the ballet Le Sacre du Printemps (The Right of Spring) which was created in 1913 by Vaslaw Nijinski and Igor Starvinsky.
