Our Board of Trustees: Guiding the Foundation's Governance
Our Board of Trustees serves as the highest authority within the Foundation's governance structure. They hold the crucial responsibility of shaping the foundation's policies and strategies, overseeing its programs and activities, monitoring its legal and financial standing, and securing resources for its continued growth and sustainability.
The Director General acts as the primary executive responsible for managing the Foundation and acts as the main point of contact with the Board of Trustees. Additionally, the Foundation engages in consultations on policies, strategies, and action plans through a distinguished high-level senior management committee.
Historically, the Board of Trustees was exclusively comprised of members from the Al-Qattan family until mid-2012. Since then, the Board has broadened its membership, to including independent specialists, academics, and professionals.
